Day 7 of 30

I am feeling less and less hungry.

Notes- Today I hardly wanted to eat. I wont say that my stomach is shrinking, but maybe its shrinking. One more day of vacation and I am going to try very hard to be good. I am going to take my crap myself, I mean diet tea, and hope that helps. I will do my best to update, but lets be real.......I am going to update on Monday. I will be partaking in Oysters and Cold Beer in Rockport and let's all hope for the best! I do still have 23 days when I come back, so chill out.

Day 6 of 30

All in all a good day. Its pretty bad when I start craving wheat bread, lol. Need to get more water in but I stuck to my points so that is good!!!

Day 4 and 5 of 30 and an update.

Today is Monday but since I wont post today till tomorrow, I decided to get the weight update here.

Starting 168/Today 165.5

Saturday and Sunday weren't a wash but they were a wash. I ate bad things like burgers and nachos here and there and I am going to have to start planning better for the weekends.

Somehow in the past 5 days I have managed to loose 2.5 pounds. Not mind blowing but it will work. I think the most important things is that I keep on going. I go on vacation on Thursday Morning so you will get a 4 day update when I get back. 11 pounds is all I need and when it comes to the hcg that will be the good stuff.

I will share a couple of things that have helped me not get crazy and stay on plan so to speak. With my smart ones lunch I eat a slice of wheat bread and a huge amount of spinach. Sonic has Minute Maid Light now, so you can get a route 44 drink and add a shot of diet cherry flavor to it and the calories are almost nothing and only 0.5 points. Trust me this drink helps. Last but not least Yoplait just came out with these yogurt parfaits with black pudding on the bottom and rasberry yogurt on top...100 calories and yummylicious.

Day 3 of 30

Today wasn't terribly bad. But I think I am going to have to remember to count everything. I had a slice of wheat toast and a red bull for breakfast. For Lunch I had nothing. For dinner. I had miso soup, edaname, yellowtail, tuna, flounder and a few pieces of sushi roll. and a few martinis and yes maybe a couple of those were chocolate.

All in all not so bad and yes I drank more water.

Day 2 or 30

Okay so yesterday wasn't so great!

Weight- I forgot to do this starting weight was 168. I have a loooooong way to go.

Water- Sadly 16 oz

Food- Here where it gets cloudy, lol.

Notes- As you can see I started out really well. Then I decided to have a drink and it all went to hell. Note to self= Jag, if you wake up and decide you are going to kill your liver for the evening. Be smart enough to eat some DAMN food before you do that!!! Please and Thank You.

Today I am going to do very good! I hope! Fingers and toes crossed, lol!

No! Mom you aren't doing that!



I promised you a belly pic and here it is. More will come later on this afternoon when I can get a friend to snap them. I asked my son last night if he would take a few pictures of my stomach for my blog. His response was I don't need to be showing you people my personal body.  Too funny! Anywho here it is in all its glory. Yes it hangs over my pants. Yes I have invested in spanx. Yes I have trouble seeing a few parts on my body! Yes I gain it all in my stomach!

That's honesty for ya. Time for a change!

Lets try this again

It's quite simple really. I am big, fat, overweight, unhealthy, etc. etc. etc.

I have struggled with my weight off and on over the past 14 years. When I got pregnant with my son in 1994 I was a size 2 or smaller. I weighed less than 100 lbs, and was very skinny. When I got pregnant I realized I could eat food and eat food I did. I would eat large bags of cheetos for breakfast and vienna sausages were my best friend. I couldn't believe food was so good. At the end of that 9  months I had gained 75 pounds, and was a size 20 something. I slowly lost that weight over the next few years. It wasn't until 2001 that I lost the majority of it. I went on the atkins diet and went from a size 14/12 to a size 6. I kept the weight off for a few years with a few hiccups along the way. Generally if I needed to lose 5-10 pounds I would do some weight watchers and all would be fine. and then...........

2005 hit. This is the year that my partner and I started our own business. Over the next 4 years I put on about 10-12 pounds a year. We had this business in our home. Stress, bad eating habits and sitting at a computer all day, were the major cause of this. Now I find myself overweight, in my 30"s, and ready to make a major change. Not just to lose weight, but also to become healthy. I have tried a million diets, laxatives, cleanses, fasts. You name it I have tried it, but in the end nothing ever really worked. Partly because of the diet and partly because I just gave up. Over the past few weeks I have taken a hard look at my body and have decided its time to make a change. Throw that in with a little motivator from a friend and here I am. 

So......Here's the reality.

I am 5"1 and a half. And yes the half is VERY important to me. I weigh between 169-165 at any given time of the month. I wear a size 14/12 depending on the day and how bloated I am. I don't want to be a size 2 again. I just want to be healthy and as close to an 8 as I can get to start. I want to see my feet. I don't have a huge belly over hang, but lets get real.....I can't see my parts. 

My plan comes in two parts. My X has lost a significant amount of weight over the last 120 days. I started to motivate myself with the whole "if he can, I can theory". He decided to start a fairly expensive program involving HCG (don't ask, just google) over the next 30 days and this diet-vitamins-shots etc, claim to help you lose 20-40 pounds over 30 days. Today he says to me, if I can lose 11 pounds by October 23 then he will pay for half my program to also do this. Now mind you I have not drank the HCG Kool-aid yet. But he gets to be the guinea pig and hopefully the stuff make a difference. I am so proud of him for the weight loss so far, and its great to have him be so supportive of the start of mine.

I took the challenge and am using it as a great motivating jump start. I decided to blog about it, not only to track my own progress, but for accountability. Tomorrow I will post a picture of my belly. Nothing graphic or dirty. But a post so that I put it out there for all to see. SO I show the world my stomach. I will post my measurements as well, and daily logs of what I eat. Don't do as I do, lord i am sure some days will be filled with fattening ass pizza. But for me, I hope putting it out there will not only help others, but so it helps me as well. 

Today is Day 1. - I plan on using the weight watchers system to help me get down portions and get on track. No I won't be going to the WW meetings or getting all crazy about it. But they system they have going over there does make it easy to track what you eat. Per the sites I have been to I get 22 points a day. 

Here are my immediate goals-

1. Stick to 22 points 5 out of 7 days.
2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
3. Take Diet Tea 3x a week.
4. Weigh Mondays and Thursday ONLY.
5. Take measurements on Mondays.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Hahahaha, I crack myself up!!
